Sony’s Reon Pocket 5: A Wearable Air Conditioner for the Masses

London, UK.  Beat the heat or stay warm on the go with Sony’s latest innovation, the Reon Pocket 5. This “smart wearable thermo device kit” is a personal climate control system that fits comfortably on the back of your neck.

The Reon Pocket 5 boasts five cooling levels and four warming levels, making it adaptable to any environment, from crowded commutes to air-conditioned offices. Built-in temperature, humidity, and motion sensors help the device determine your ideal comfort level.

For even smarter temperature control, pair the Reon Pocket 5 with the included Reon Pocket Tag. This small tag acts as a remote sensor, detecting your surroundings and sending data to the neck unit for automatic adjustments.

Prefer manual control? The Reon Pocket App (available for iOS and Android) allows you to adjust settings via Bluetooth for on-the-go comfort. Hikers will appreciate the device’s long battery life – Tech Radar reports up to 17 hours on a single charge.

Global Debut for a Beloved Gadget

The Reon Pocket series has been a hit in Asian markets since its 2019 launch in Japan. Now, with the Reon Pocket 5, Sony is bringing this innovative technology to a wider audience. The UK is the first stop in this global expansion.
