Meet Y.Puran Kumar I.G Haryana -Whistleblower or habitual complainant ?Y.Puran Kumar is in habit of complaining against senior officers to higher authorities on flimsy grounds.Latest victim of his slanderous campaign of character assassination is Sandeep Khirwar ADGP,Haryana.Khirwar is believed to have requested to DGP,Haryana for taking appropriate disciplinary measures against Y Puran Kumar to make him desist from such mischievous actions.It is learnt that DGP has sent the case to ACS (Home ) for taking suitable action.Khirwar has written to DGP “It is brought to your notice that Y.Purab Kumar IPS has been habitually levelling motivated and false allegations against various officers including the undersigned adding that he has been prying into private affairs of officers and trying to project himself as some sort of a whistleblower,which he is most certainly not.

Khirwar writes that he attempts to scandalise and tarnish reputations without much basis and one is not even aware of the animus he harbours and reasons there of .While doing so it appears that he deliberately misreads information/ documents after accessing them for reasons best known to him .Needless to say that such frivolous and motivated complaints cause personal anguish to the officers concerned.He has been consistently exhibiting unofficer like behaviour which is in contravention of Conduct Rules.Besides he displays poor understanding of Law and attempts to scandalise without much basis.His actions are likely to breed indiscipline in force in the days and years to come.
