The Bharat Scouts and Guides have expanded their presence in Ladakh with the inauguration of a new branch in the region. The Chief National Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and Guides, K.K. Khandelwal, along with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, B.D. Mishra, presented the warrant of appointment (patta) to the new office bearers of the UT Ladakh State Association of Bharat Scouts and Guides. The formal ceremony was a significant milestone for the Scouts and Guides movement in the region.

During the event, K.K. Khandelwal administered the Scout Guide Promise to the newly appointed office bearers, emphasizing the values of service, leadership, and community development that the Bharat Scouts and Guides embody. He praised the initiative as an important step towards fostering a spirit of volunteerism and responsible citizenship in Ladakh.

Lieutenant Governor B.D. Mishra also lauded the efforts of Bharat Scouts and Guides in promoting youth development, leadership skills, and community engagement. He highlighted the importance of the movement in shaping young minds and fostering a sense of discipline and patriotism.
