Invitation Extended to Hon’ble President of India Draupadi Murmu for the Bharat Scouts and Guides Diamond Jubilee Jamboree by Dr KK Khandelwal IAS(R) Chief National Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides and State Chief Commissioner Haryana.

The Bharat Scouts and Guides, a premier national movement dedicated to youth empowerment and community service, has the distinct honor of inviting the Hon’ble President of India, Madam Droupadi Murmu, to grace the Diamond Jubilee Jamboree as the Chief Guest. This prestigious event is scheduled to be held at SIPCOT Industrial Park, Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, from January 28 to February 3, 2025.
The Diamond Jubilee Jamboree, a highlight of the ongoing year-long celebrations marking 75 glorious years of the Bharat Scouts and Guides, promises to bring together approximately 20,000 Scouts and Guides from across India, along with 1,000 international participants from Asia-Pacific and other regions. The event, themed “Sashakt Yuva, Viksit Bharat”, aims to celebrate youth empowerment, cultural exchange, and leadership development under the timeless ethos of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”—the world is one family.
From Haryana 875 scouts and guides are participating in this jamboree.
Dr. K.K. Khandelwal, a distinguished leader in the movement, presented his latest book, “Organising Scouts and Guides Jamboree”, to the Hon’ble President during the meeting. The book encapsulates best practices and organizational strategies for large-scale gatherings, further enriching the tradition of knowledge-sharing within the Bharat Scouts and Guides.
In a heartfelt gesture, the Bharat Scouts and Guides have requested the Hon’ble President to inaugurate the Jamboree on January 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM or to attend the Closing Ceremony on February 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Her Excellency’s presence would reaffirm the values of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat” and inspire the youth to contribute to the vision of a developed and united India.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides acknowledges the Hon’ble President’s gracious presence at the 18th National Jamboree in Pali, Rajasthan, in January 2023. The organization remains deeply grateful for her support, which continues to motivate millions of young members across the country.
The Bharat Scouts and Guides look forward to a positive response from the Rashtrapati Bhavan, confident that the Hon’ble President’s participation will elevate the significance of this historic occasion and leave an indelible mark on the hearts of all participants.
