Shruti Sharma, a rising star in Netflix’s “Heeramandi,” is basking in praise for her portrayal of Saima. While fans love her on-screen romance with Iqbal (Rajat Kaul), Shruti revealed the behind-the-scenes struggles of filming their intimate scene.
“It was a very romantic scene, a first for me on screen,” Shruti shared with Entertainment Live. “The choreography was difficult, and we shot for a whole day! By the end, I had rashes all over, but the scene turned out beautifully.”
Shruti also addressed comparisons with co-star Sharmin Segal. “I’m happy with Saima’s role,” she told Pinkvilla. “Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a wise director, and his vision shouldn’t be questioned. He’s a legend!”
Shruti, who has previously impressed in projects like “Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya” and “Pagglait,” is a talent to watch.
