For kind attention of Shatrujit Kapoor,DGP Haryana.Will he act against his own fraternity ?Issue of pocketing whooping sum of Rs three crores collected by challan of vehicles .Part one .Role of one IPS officer posted as district Police chief in a district in NCR and two DSP,s under cloud.Time bound probe by IG rank Police officer is the need of hour.Million dollars question being asked in IAS circles is that what action Shatrujit Kapoor who as Anti Corruption Beauro Chief has got cases registered against their several colleagues takes when it comes to his own fraternity.Our investigation has revealed sensational disclosure.It has all the ingredients of a potboiller Mumbai thriller having corruption by junior’s and protection by seniors and also positive role of whistle blower.During two years about rs there crores was collected by Police as fine for traffic violation.The concerned incharge of challan branch was supposed to deposit the money in State Bank of India but he kept it in his pocket.In meantime some whistle blower tipped of then DGP about the scam who directed it to Inspector General of South range Police,Rewari who sent it to SP of the concerned district.I.G South range wrote to all SP,s of the range vide his letter reference no 8365 -68 dated 23/7/21”It has come to the notice that the amount of challans received from different challaning branch of the police station and police post of district is not deposited in to Govt account by the dealing hand for several months and the employees of the challaning Branches are using the aforesaid money for their personal use by which the Govt is incurring of huge financial loss “.Here started the game of cover up .Despite the fact that matter is in the knowledge of DGP.enquiry was entrusted to pliable DSP who gave clean chit to the accused.He gave report that due to Crona and duty in farmers agitation the concerned Police Head constable has deposited the money in Bank belatedly causing financial loss to the government.Instead of taking action on the report of DSP headquarters of the district the SP of the district wrote “Initiate departmental enquiry against police personnel and enquiry was entrusted to another pliable DSP.SP vide his order dated 3/9/2021 said “A departmental enquiry is hereby initiated against Head constable Janak Raj for showing gross negligence,carelessness,dereliction in duty and the amount of Challans for not depositing into Govt account by them for several months and they are using the aforesaid money for their personal use by which the government is incurring huge financial loss.DSP will conduct the regular departmental enquiry by holding day to day proceedings and submit his findings at the earliest.”Sensing the body language of the boss the DSP also gave the cover up report that money was deposited belatedly.And SP gave exemplary punishment of only stopping there annual increments.Tailpiece.It is still mystery that where the money is?To be continued.
