Delhi Court has convicted Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in 1984 riots case – But then PM.Rajiv Gandhi has given clean chit to Sajjan Kumar.This has been revealed by Ex Punjab super cop Julio Ribeiro in his book “ BULLET FOR BULLET “ Ny Life As a Police Officer.Rebeiro writes that when at a high level meeting held to review Punjab terrorism he raised the issue of long delay in cases against Sajjan Kumar ,Rajiv Gandhi who was presiding over the meeting Lost his temper and said that he did not want me to raise this matter again.Rajiv Gandhi told to Rebeiro that he could not agree to prosecute Sajjan Kumar.a committed Congress Loyalist,merely because of some false allegations being made against him adding that Sajjan Kumar was present beside the body of his mother throughout the time it Lay in the state.Rajiv Gandhi said that he himself was witness to this fact .
