Despite external and internal pressures, Hooda has not buckled under the weight of any faction, be it from state or central Congress leadership.
Congress, much like the resilient grass (Parthenium hysterophorus), continues to survive and thrive regardless of the political climate. The party is buoyed by its strong legacy, the brand it has built, and its longstanding association with the Nehru-Gandhi family—Nehru, Indira, Rajiv, Sonia, Rahul, and Priyanka. The family has flourished irrespective of whether they are in power or not.
