The whole philosophy is wrong whereas the statistics could be reliable. Everything that is being planned or executed around this philosophy lacks vision and wisdom. Those who do not want science to play a key role or those that don’t know abcd of science talk this trash. There are theories about natural selection of sex at the level of fertilization during which several factors may influence the selection of sex of the foetus such as genetic makeup and healthy genes, conditions and environment in the womb, temperature, chemistry at molecular level and timing, or both internal and external factors such as the regions on earth in which a couple usually lived, security of food and other means of survival.

In war time more males are born than females children because war necessitated it or nature played its role in view that more males have perished. Similarly, during natural calamities when males in a population group got eliminated or reduced, more female children could be born.

Please don’t associate the sex ratio with the trash that the government regularly produces to enhance its own politico-social image through the sex-ratio agenda, which is born out of ignorance and unproven facts on which its rested. Statisticians, when not correctly interpreted equipped with methods to know more intensely its relationship with population genetics and/or molecular basis of sex selection leads to framing policies that look good or benefited the female child and women but could end up in discrimination to both. It may shower benevolence for one but bring disgrace to the other i.e., the male, in the whole set up. Coupling statistics with unscientific interpretations or framework of policies around these could be detrimental in the long-term.
