After giving three CM,s to Delhi ,Haryana,s Lal Manohar Lal is all set to become Party,s national President-He enjoys confidence of Modi and RSS

After delivering three CMs, Sushma Swaraj, Arvind Kejriwal and Rekha Gupta to Delhi,Haryana is all set to deliver national President of ruling party BJP.

Highly placed party-sources told that former Haryana CM and currently Union Minister Manohar Lal will replace JP Nadda as Party President.
Manohar Lal has double qualifications for the post as he enjoys the confidence of both PM Narender Modi and RSS being former Pracharak of the Sangh.
Earlier Haryana’s another Lal, Devilal was deputy Prime Minister in VP Singh-led Janata Dal government.
Although he was dismissed from the post for calling VP Singh spineless in an interview to a magazine.
Another Lal Bansi Lal was Union Defence Minister during the emergency and was close confidant of the then PM,Indira Gandhi.He was the main member of the caucus which ruled the country during the emergency.
Friendship of Modi and Manohar Lal dates back to the period when Manohar Lal was organising secretary and Modi was Haryana in-charge of the Party.The friendship awarded Manohar Lal the post of CM ignoring the claim of the senior leaders.With Modi’s blessings, Manohar became CM for the second term.Electoral compulsion forced Modi to seek Manohar Lal’s resignation but he was given MP ticket and inducted in the Union Cabinet with important portfolios.
