Gustakhi Maaf Haryana Criticizes Governor Bandaru Dattatreya’s Inaction on Gurugram University Issue

Questions Governor’s Role in Addressing University Concerns

In a recent post highlighting issues at Gurugram University, Pawan Kumar Bansal responded to a reader’s question regarding the inaction of Haryana’s Governor, Bandaru Dattatreya. The reader had raised the question, “Who will bell the cat?” and referenced the saying “Saiya hoee kotwal to ab dar kaika,” (सैया होई कोतवाल तो अब डर काइका !!)  implying that if the protector is ineffective, there will be no justice.

Bansal responded sharply, describing the Governor as nothing more than an “ornamental flower,” enjoying his luxurious lifestyle with five-star comforts, cars, bungalows, and salutes while doing little to address pressing issues. He criticized the Governor for preaching Gita sermons, forgetting that Lord Krishna had told Arjuna to take action regardless of the consequences. Bansal argued that Dattatreya appears helpless in this situation because Dinesh Kumar, the Vice Chancellor of Gurugram University, is a favored figure of Nagpur, thus hindering any meaningful action against him.
